Kentucky offensive line earns midseason Joe Moore Award honors

John Schlarman’s offensive line has been named a member of the midseason honor roll for the Joe Moore Award, which recognizes the Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit in college football.

Three players – A.J. Rose, Lynn Bowden Jr., and Kavosiey Smoke – have all rushed for over 300 yards on the year, with the team also being on pace for a fourth consecutive season of more than 2,000 rushing yards. The Wildcats are averaging 192.3 rushing yards per game, good for sixth in the SEC.

“You can tell this is a coachable bunch,” the Joe Moore Award committee said in an official release.
