The field is set for Kentucky Oaks 148.
Nest will be the morning line favorite at 5-2 after Todd Pletcher’s filly dominated the field at Keeneland in the Ashland Stakes. Undefeated Kathleen O, trained by Shug McGaughey and ridden by Javier Castellano, will be the 7-2 second choice.
One of the local favorites is in the No. 1 post position, Secret Oath. Previously tested against the boys with a third-place finish in the Arkansas Derby, Secret Oath is trained by D. Wayne Lukas. A victory Friday evening would give the Coach five Kentucky Oaks victories, tying Woody Stephens with the most all-time.
