John Calipari might not want to talk about the Evansville loss (he made that pretty obvious in his post-game press conference), but something is keeping his team from moving up in the NET rankings, and it surely isn’t the Cats’ eight-game winning streak.
In the latest rankings, Kentucky has moved up from No. 18 to No. 14, although the Cats are still listed behind several teams with inferior records. UK is the only team from the SEC to qualify for the top-25. Keep in mind the NET rankings are one of the NCAA selection committee’s “primary tools” utilized during the seeding process for the Tournament.
