NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The answer to the question, can Kentucky flip the switch?, has been answered.
The Wildcats easily moved past Georgia in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference tournament Friday, winning 71-60 in front of a "neutral crowd" at Bridgestone Arena.
Effort and energy were the minimum requirements, Kentucky coach John Calipari said a day earlier, and everything else would take care of itself.
He was right, and Kentucky (27-6) played one of its best games in weeks to end the Bulldogs (19-14) NCAA tournament dreams.
