The Wildcats were one of four hats on the table, but they could not lock up a commitment from Rayshaun Benny. The four-star lineman will stay in his home state to play college football for Mel Tucker at Michigan State.
Last year Benny was a teammate with Justin Rogers at Oak Park High School just outside of Detroit, the same alma mater of Marquan “Bully” McCall. To secure the commitments from each four-star prospect from Michigan, Steve Clinkscale gave Rogers and McCall the opportunity to play defense, where many other schools preferred the players to stay on the offensive line.
