Kentucky men’s soccer (3-5-5, 2-2-2 Sun Belt) fell 2-1 to Central Florida (5-4-3, 3-3 Sun Belt) in a conference showdown.
After a competitive start to the game, Logan Dorsey gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute. The goal was assisted on by Josh Gordon and Martin Soereide.
Five minutes after Dorsey’s goal, Drew Hansen knotted the game up at 1-1 in the 38th minute on a goal assisted by Mouhamed Pouye.
Both teams were determined to break the 1-1 tie as the second half got underway when Hansen notched his second goal of the contest in the 53rd minute to push the Knights out in front 2-1.
