In partnership with the UK Athletics’ God’s Pantry program for the tenth consecutive year, the Wildcats delivered packed lunches to the school and participated in physical education activities with the Picadome students.
Some of the activities? Duck, duck, goose, relay races, shooting contests, and a dunk from Kahlil Whitney over the school’s principal, among others.
While the day of play certainly put smiles on the kids’ faces, the Wildcats in attendance also came away feeling overwhelmed with joy.
“I can remember being in elementary school and having the Harlem Globetrotters come to my school,” sophomore guard Immanuel Quickley said.
