As expected, the 2019 NFL Draft was an historic event for the Kentucky football program.
For the first time in school history, a Wildcat was selected in each of the first four rounds of the NFL Draft. Josh Allen got the ball rolling Thursday night, followed by Lonnie Johnson in the second round, Mike Edwards in the third and Benny Snell in the fourth round.
Alabama, Ohio State and Oklahoma were the only other schools with players picked in each of the first four rounds.
It took a little longer for the next Wildcat to be drafted.
