After 20 minutes of play, Kentucky leads Mississippi State 40-25 in Starkville.
In case the 15-point lead wasn’t indication enough, there’s a lot to like about Kentucky’s performance so far. PJ Washington carried over his strong play from recent games, scoring the Cats’ first eight points. Reid Travis has eight points and four rebounds, dominating the post thanks to some impressive ball movement. Ashton Hagans has SEVEN assists so far and a three. The Cats are 5-11 from three so far and are owning the boards 17-10. They’ve got 10 assists to only three turnovers.
