Kentucky is NOT the No. 1 team in the AP Preseason Poll

The preseason AP College Basketball Poll is out and your Kentucky Wildcats are NOT the number one team in the country in the eyes of the voters. Kansas is ranked first, followed by Kentucky, Gonzaga, Duke, and Virginia. The Jayhawks received 37 first-place votes to Kentucky’s 19.

Five SEC teams made the Top 25: Kentucky (2), Tennessee (6), Auburn (11), Mississippi State (18), and LSU (23). It really does mean more this year.
