Kentucky is 12th toughest recruiting job in football

Five factors were considered in the rankings: local recruiting territory; football/recruiting budget; facilities to attract recruits; NFL alumni; and other factors, including gameday atmosphere, academics and tradition.

The programs were ranked from the easiest to toughest jobs, and it may not surprise you that the University of Kentucky is near the bottom.

Mark Stoops’ current position came in at No. 54 on the list, making it the 12th toughest job among all Power 5 programs. Only Vanderbilt was worse in the Southeastern Conference.

Meanwhile, seven of the top 20 were SEC schools, with Georgia earning the top position for the most fertile spot to recruit.
