Kentucky in the SEC Tournament: Everything to know

The 2019 SEC Tournament begins this week, and it offers a chance for the Kentucky Wildcats to boost their already-impressive resume.

After finishing with a 26-5 regular-season record and 15-3 mark in SEC play, the Cats will look to lock up a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament with a run in the Music City this week. If Kentucky wins the league tourney, they lock up a 1 seed in the Big Dance and give themselves a more favorable path to Minneapolis.

But if Kentucky fails to come out of Nashville as SEC champs, they could drop to a 2 seed with Duke, Tennessee and North Carolina breathing down their neck.
