In-state star Justin Powell is one of the best of the best in Kentucky.
Over the first weekend of Nike’s AAU circuit, Powell averaged 15.8 points per game and went 10/17 from behind the arc.
And Kentucky has taken notice.
In an interview with Ben Roberts from Kentucky.com, Powell said that the Kentucky Wildcats have been in contact with him.
“‘They’ve been coming at me a little bit,” Powell said. “Obviously, it’s a great program — big blue-blood program. And they’re obviously the best of the best. So it would be pretty cool.
