Kentucky has a new leader for the men’s golf program. Vanderbilt associate head coach Gator Tood is the new head coach in Lexington.
A former professional golfer, Todd is in his sixth season working at Vanderbilt under head coach Scott Limbaugh. The Commodores are currently ranked No. 1 in men’s golf and have brought home a pair of SEC titles during Todd’s time in Nashville. Gordon Sergent won the 2022 NCAA Championship while being coached by Todd. The former Alabama player is familiar with the SEC landscape and will look to bring Kentucky to national golf prominence.
“We’re certainly excited to have Gator, Mary Katherine and Sylvie join our UK family,” director of athletics Mitch Barnhart said.
