It started in spring, when defensive tackle Jacob Hyde took a few snaps at fullback. The thought was that it might've been temporary, but now that's it continued into fall camp ... well, people are intrigued.

Why are they intrigued by a new fullback? Because he's a pretty big deal -- literally. Hyde, a sophomore, is listed at 6-foot-2 and a whopping 320 pounds. And while Kentucky's pass-heavy offense won't often feature a fullback, Hyde changed his jersey number this offseason, from 66 to 36, in preparation for the possibility of lining up on offense as a fullback and eligible receiver.
