The full stands of Rupp Arena erupted with excitement to conclude “excite night” as fifth-year-senior Raena Worley sprinted through the crowd and straight into her parents arms after wrapping up the Cats’ home opener with her first score of a perfect 10 on the floor.
The Wildcats finished with a score of 197.950 to 195.650, kicking off the start to their home schedule for the season against the Georgia Bulldogs.
“The feeling of a ten is surreal,” Worley expressed post meet with tears in her eyes and a permanent smile. “Being a part of this team, there is never a moment where it doesn’t feel like family.
