The season came to an end for the 2022-23 Kentucky women’s basketball team on Friday night in Greenville. After winning multiple games again in the SEC Tournament, Kyra Elzy’s team was knocked out by Tennessee officially ending a disappointing season.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only bad news to occur over the weekend.
Freshman guard Kennedy Cambridge announced her intentions to enter the transfer portal on Sunday evening.

That could be a significant blow to the program as Elzy is now 49-40 (19-28) after three seasons in Lexington.
