Kentucky generated 6th most social media interactions in April among WBB programs

Kyra Elzy’s program is riding some serious momentum as of late.

According to SkullSparks, which works with college sports all over the nation on digital strategy, Kentucky generated the sixth-most social media interactions among all official accounts of women’s college basketball programs throughout April 2022. Across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, the Wildcats generated over 100,000 interactions last month. Four of the five programs ahead of Kentucky made this past year’s Final Four.

UK’s Instagram generated 57,287 total interactions, Twitter drew in 18,055, and Facebook collected 31,281 for a total of 106,623. Only six schools eclipsed the 100k interactions mark, with Kentucky just sneaking over the threshold.
