Kentucky football's J.J. Weaver doubtful to return against Youngstown State with arm injury

Kentucky football is already down a key player on its defense minutes into Saturday's game.

Outside linebacker J.J. Weaver appeared to injure his left arm on the first defensive drive of the game against Youngstown State. He was taken to the locker room shortly after he was helped off the field.

UK called it an "upper extremity injury" and said he's doubtful to return to the game, according to the SEC Network broadcast.

A team captain and junior, Weaver had 14 tackles (six solo), a sack, a forced fumble and tackle for a loss in the Wildcats' first two games.
