The Kentucky football team is returning to the weight room.
Sources tell KSR the first wave of football players on campus will participate in workouts Monday morning at 8 a.m. The group of about 50 or so players has been medically cleared to return to action and is primarily made up of players from the area and upperclassmen that continued living in Lexington during the coronavirus pandemic.
As the first group begins team activities next week, the second wave of players will return to campus and begin the process of becoming medically cleared to play. Incoming freshman Justin Rogers recently said he will be reporting to campus June 15.
