Kentucky football without at least 15 players for game at No. 5 Florida

LEXINGTON — The Kentucky football team will be without at least 15 players for Saturday's game at No. 5 Florida.

That number includes a mix of players dealing with football-related injuries and several in quarantine due to either positive COVID-19 tests or contact tracing, a UK spokeswoman confirmed Saturday morning. Multiple players in that group, like linebacker Chris Oats and offensive tackle Naasir Watkins, have not played at all this season, but among the absences are several normal starters for the second week in a row.

Leading rusher Chris Rodriguez, who also missed last week's game at Alabama, is not expected to play again.
