The Kentucky football home schedule will come to an end this Saturday when the Wildcats host No. 8 Alabama at Kroger Field. The Wildcats are wearing something special for the occasion.
Friday afternoon the school used Deone Walker to model a new gray uniform. The alternate light gray look was popular early in the Mark Stops era. Over the last five years or so the alternate shifted to a darker gray that was called “anthracite,” a salute to the state’s coal miners.
According to UK Athletics, this will be the eleventh time the team was worn all-gray uniforms in the Mark Stoops era.
