The dominos continued to fall as Kentucky football wide receiver Dane Key announced he was entering the transfer portal.
“After much prayer and reflection, I’ve made the decision to enter the transfer portal for my final year,” Key said in a statement posted to his Instagram.
The junior committed to Kentucky as a four-star player out of Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington.
Key opted to stay home as he chose the Wildcats over Oregon, South Carolina and Michigan. He followed in his father Donte’ Key’s footsteps by dawning the blue and white as his dad played defensive end for Kentucky from 1992-95.
