Kentucky is hitting the road for the first time this season when Mark Stoops‘ squad opens SEC play at Vanderbilt. The Wildcats are bringing one of the Big Blue Nation’s favorite uniform combinations to the West End construction site.
The Vanderbilt Commodores will be blacking out their uniforms with black jerseys, pants and helmets. Kentucky is combatting the blackout with an icy look. The Wildcats will rock their all-white uniform and debut the chrome domes for the first time in 2023.
Kentucky is 10-13 under Mark Stoops when the Wildcats wear all-white uniforms, a decent number when you consider they’re exclusively worn on the road.
