In 2016, the Kentucky Wildcats opened the $45 million Joe Craft Football Training Facility.
The facility is adjacent to Kroger Field, allowing the players to be right by their locker rooms for practices, games and workouts. It’s safe to say the building is state of the art with workout equipment, pools, and lockers with an electronic locking system, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning.
With the new and improved facilities, Kentucky’s recruiting rankings have improved each year, and the team has not digressed in win totals. Clearly, facilities help bring results. A year after finishing 12th in the AP Poll for their efforts on the field, Kentucky also ranks on a top 25 list for the ‘nation’s best facilities, according to 247 sports.
