HOOVER, Ala. - Hopes of a revitalized Kentucky football offense have been dealt a significant injury blow with just more than six weeks before the 2021 season opener.
Junior tight end Keaton Upshaw could miss the entire 2021 season with an injury suffered in summer conditioning, UK coach Mark Stoops confirmed during the Wildcats' stop at SEC Media Days Tuesday. Stoops did not provide specifics on the injury but acknowledged it is a significant one.
"Traditionally speaking, that is a season-ending injury, but we’ll see and we need to confirm that," Stoops said. "I don’t have any more news other than that at this point.
