Three-star WR/DB Kobi Albert ended his recruitment on Wednesday morning with an announcement. Unfortunately, the explosive playmaker will be playing for someone else in the SEC.
The Fairfield (Ala.) Preparatory School prospect announced that two-way player will be staying in-state and heading to the Plains to continue his football career. Former Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason recorded a recruiting win for the Tigers per Auburn Live as Bryan Harsin’s defensive coordinator played a vital role in securing the in-state prospect.
“Coach Mason is one-of-a-kind,” Albert said. “I really like Coach Mason. He keeps it real, and I feel like that will help me grow as a young man into an adult.
