According to a report by Brett McMurphy, Kentucky and Ohio State have swapped non-conference opponents in the 2024 season.
McMurphy says Kentucky will host Southern Miss now, while Ohio State will host Akron. Both games are schedule for August 31.
Southern Miss and Kentucky have played four times in history, with Kentucky winning three of them. The Golden Eagles stunned the Wildcats 44-35 in 2016 in Lexington.
