The nation’s most talented high school football prospects will descend upon Atlanta, Georgia this weekend to compete in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge, and a handful of them are Kentucky football recruits.
The Five-Star Challenge is the top camp in the Rivals’ circuit. Equivalent to Nike’s The Opening, this adidas sponsored invitation-only event is being held at Mercedez-Benz Stadium. Four of the campers are Kentucky natives.
Jared Casey earned his invitation by winning the linebacker MVP honors at the Nashville Three Stripe Camp. The Louisville Ballard defender blew up on the recruiting scene, earned four-stars and more than a dozen offers, including one from Kentucky.
