Kentucky football no longer receiving votes in AP or Coaches polls

For the first time all season, Kentucky football is no longer receiving votes in either of the major polls.

On Sunday afternoon, both the Associated Press and Coaches polls were updated to reflect the Week 12 national rankings. In the aftermath of the Wildcats’ disappointing 49-21 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, Kentucky (6-4; 3-4 SEC) was booted out of the “receiving votes” category from the most recent Coaches Poll Top 25 after entering the week with four total points, good enough for 37th overall in the country.
