Kentucky football is making its rise in the national rankings.
Following the Wildcats’ 26-16 victory over the Florida Gators on Saturday night, Kentucky has been moved up to No. 10 in the latest AFCA Coaches Poll, a 10-spot jump. The ‘Cats came into the weekend ranked No. 20 by the Coaches Poll. Florida slides down from No. 19 to No. 21.
Earlier on Sunday, ESPN updated its Week 2 Power Rankings where Kentucky took another considerable leap in the standings. UK is now No. 9, according to the worldwide leader, which is a 10-spot bump from last week’s power rankings.
