LEXINGTON, Ky. — With Kentucky football less than a week into its preseason camp, it already is down an offensive lineman. And when — or even if — he'll return is uncertain.
UK coach Mark Stoops said during the team's media day Friday that redshirt freshman Nikolas Hall likely won't play in 2023.
"Nik had an injury," Stoops said. "I think he is going to have to take a medical redshirt."
Stoops said the Wildcats are still determining whether the injury will end Hall's playing career. While Stoops has not discussed the specifics of the injury, offensive line coach Zach Yenser told NewsRadio 630 WLAP earlier this week that Hall has battled an ailing back.
