Kentucky Football junior linebacker Courtney Love has been named to the 2016 SEC Football Community Service Team, the league announced recently. Love, a Youngstown, Ohio native and transfer from Nebraska, has been active in the community in both Lexington and Lincoln during his college career.
Love is one of several UK student-athletes, one from each sport, to be nominated for SEC Community Service Team honors, which highlights athletes that give back to the community through demonstrated, superior service efforts.
Love was one of three Kentucky football players that participated in a service and educational trip to Ethiopia, where student-athletes helped build houses and provided food, among other activities.
