An old saying goes, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," but former Vanderbilt running back Re'Mahn "Ray" Davis has decided to switch it up.
After rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown in the Commodores' historic upset of Kentucky last month at Kroger Field, Davis on Tuesday announced he'll be joining the Wildcats in 2023 via the NCAA transfer portal.
Considering Davis' experience at the collegiate level, the 5-foot-9, 205-pound San Francisco native will be the frontrunner to replace starting tailback Chris Rodriguez, who leaves UK with the third-most rushing yards in school history (3,644).
