The Kentucky Wildcats got a double-dose of bad news on Monday. After learning two players were transferring Monday morning, it was later revealed that two incoming transfers were denied immediate eligibility for the upcoming college football season.
Linebacker Courtney Love and tight end Greg Hart were ruled ineligible to play in 2015 by the NCAA, head coach Mark Stoops announced Monday evening. Stoops also aid that UK was appealing the ruling for Love.Both players were applying for hardship waivers to play this year, but it now appears they'll have to sit out before becoming eligible in 2016.
