LEXINGTON - Kentucky football chief of staff Dan Berezowitz was arrested Sunday and charged with fourth-degree assault in Lexington, according to court records.
Details about the circumstances of the arrest were not immediately available, but a UK spokeswoman confirmed the school is aware of the arrest and "gathering more info." A $1,000 cash bond was posted for Berezowitz by UK director of player personnel Chase Heuke, according to court records.
Berezowitz has been a fixture on the Kentucky staff since being hired as the administrative recruiting coordinator by Mark Stoops shortly after he was hired as Kentucky's coach before the 2013 season.
