LEXINGTON, Ky. — John Schlarman worked through Kentucky football practice last Friday hours after a round of chemotherapy treatment.
The offensive line assistant hasn't missed a day of work despite, "battling a very serious illness," coach Mark Stoops said Monday.
Stoops hasn't revealed specifics about Schlarman's illness with respect to his family.
"At this point John has gone through two rounds of chemotherapy and is handling things with a very strong attitude and strong mindset," Stoops said.
