It’s been almost two months since Jared Lorenzen passed away back in early July, and the wounds still haven’t healed for much of the Big Blue Nation and the people who loved him.
But, to celebrate the life of Jared, Kentucky football announced Jared Lorenzen day will take place Saturday, October, 12th, against none other than the Arkansas Razorbacks.
As you all know, Jared’s most memorable game as a Kentucky Wildcat came in a seven overtime thriller against the Razorbacks back in 2003, the game that cemented the legend of the ‘Hefty Lefty.’
For the special day on October 12th, fans will be able to get $22 off tickets from TicketMaster and rally towels will be distributed at the opening gates upon entry.
