LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky is reinforcing its offensive line early in the 2020 recruiting cycle.
Three-star Florida prep offensive lineman Gerald Mincey became the second player to pledge to the class Monday morning, following three-star Florida prep offensive lineman Richie Leonard, who committed to Kentucky in October.
After signing only two offensive linemen in the 2019 class, UK coach Mark Stoops acknowledged last week on signing day the line would be a point of emphasis in the 2020 cycle.
“Obviously some offensive linemen and some wide outs,” Stoops said. “Obviously, we'll need them. I feel you're always looking to add in every area.
