Kentucky Football was able to sneak back into the Coaches Poll Top 25 with a dominating performance over New Mexico State last week. Following an even more impressive 52-21 drumming of in-state rival Louisville on Saturday, the ‘Cats find themselves firmly within the national rankings.
The USA Today AFCA Coaches Poll updated its rankings on Sunday afternoon, moving Kentucky up three spots from No. 25 to No. 22 in the country. UK is currently the fourth-highest SEC program in the nation, ahead of Texas A&M and Arkansas.
Kentucky finishes the regular season posting a 9-3 record with dreams of a high-caliber bowl game alive and well.
