I’ll never forget hearing a story back in the summer of 2016 about an incoming freshman that must have had a few screws loose. It was the only explanation for his actions on the practice field, in the weight room, and while studying film.
“There’s one new running back on the team, this kid is crazy,” one individual within the Kentucky football program told me at the time. “We tease him for it, but something feels off. He’s just different.”
He’d break tackles and yell at the upperclassmen for not being able to take him down.
