LEXINGTON - A Kentucky fan who was videoed yelling a racial slur at a Tennessee fan in the waning minutes of the Wildcats' Tuesday loss to the Volunteers has been banned from buying tickets to future games.
"We have permanently revoked ticket privileges for all UK Athletics events from the person who made the abusive remark at Tuesday night’s game, effective immediately," UK athletics director Mitch Barnhart tweeted Thursday. "This misconduct is unacceptable, unwelcome at the University of Kentucky and not reflective of our values.
