Kentucky came, and Kentucky conquered.
In a venue where the Wildcats have struggled, even with some of their best teams under John Calipari, Tuesday quickly turned into a bloodbath in Nashville, as Kentucky cruised to an 87-52 win. The 35-margin was the biggest win at Vanderbilt since the 1995-96 team won by 39.
Vanderbilt managed to keep it close early and pulled to within 12-10 with 13:50 left. But from there, it was all Wildcats, as they finished the half on a 33-5 run and cruised to their third-biggest margin of victory this season.
PJ Washington had a double-double by halftime and finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
