Kentucky commit Ty Bryant shines for Frederick Douglass on opening night

Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglass is quickly becoming a feeder program for Kentucky football. Alums Jager Burton and Dane Key are expected to play big roles for the Wildcats this fall. There will be a former teammate joining them next season.

Three-star defensive back Ty Bryant (6-0, 175) committed to Kentucky last August and then reclassified to the 2023 class. The legacy recruit has played a lot of high school football, and he opened his senior campaign with a boom on Friday night.

Frederick Douglass hosted Bryan Station to get the 2022 year started and cruised to a 52-7 victory in front of a sold-out crowd.
