Kentucky comes up short at Ole Miss as complicated stretch continues

Kentucky came up short 98-84 tonight at Ole Miss after falling behind by as many as 27 points in the second half.

The Wildcats (15-7, 4-5 SEC) fought back to cut the lead down to 11 at 78-67 with 7:43 to play. Unfortunately, Jaylen Murray nailed a dagger three-pointer for the Rebels to end any serious threat of a comeback.

Kentucky has suddenly dropped four of the last five games while dealing with multiple injuries, most notably the loss of starting point guard Lamont Butler.

Otega Oweh led the Cats with 24 points. Jaxson Robinson finished with 18.
