Kentucky club hockey swept Xavier in a weekend series, winning first on the road Friday before also winning in Lexington on Saturday.
Kentucky first faced off against Xavier on Friday, Nov. 3, at Queen City Sports Complex in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Cats started the game off strong with a goal by senior captain Gabe D’Amico, followed shortly with two from Brett Quinn.
Xavier came back and won several faceoffs in a row, attempting to make quick passes down the ice before being stopped, leading to another Wildcat goal by sophomore Jack Noel to make it a 4-0 period.
