Kentucky’s win over Louisville resulted in a 30-spot jump in the NCAA’s NET rankings last week. After beating Missouri to start SEC play, the Cats continue to climb the NET, now up to No. 37 from No. 44 a week ago.
Undefeated San Diego State is still the No. 1 team in the country in the eyes of the NCAA’s computers, followed by Kansas, Butler, Duke, and Baylor. Auburn is the top SEC team, coming in at No. 6. After seven straight wins, including yesterday’s 87-69 victory over Michigan, Michigan State is up to No. 10, making Kentucky’s season-opening win over the Spartans look much better than it did a few weeks back.
