If Kentucky forward Wenyen Gabriel is to make an NBA roster he will have to do it as a free agent.
Gabriel, who averaged 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while starting seven of Kentucky's 37 games last season, was not one of the 60 players selected in Thursday's NBA draft. Gabriel had elected to keep his name in the draft on deadline day in late May despite not being included in most major mock drafts.
He became the third UK player in the last two years to turn pro after his sophomore season and go undrafted.
