LEXINGTON – John Calipari’s quest for another big man for his 2020-21 Kentucky basketball roster was dealt another blow Thursday.
The NCAA Board of Directors recommended the Division I Council not take up a proposal in May that would alter the waiver process for transfers, allowing most athletes in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, men’s ice hockey and football to transfer once without sitting out a year as athletes in other sports can.
