The No. 13 Kentucky basketball team (5-1) is back in Rupp Arena on Monday night for a matchup against Central Michigan.
The Wildcats are riding a five-game winning streak, but their record isn't concrete evidence of UK's potential. Of the opponents in that stretch, only Ohio (103) is currently ranked better than 247th nationally by KenPom.com, UK beat writer Jon Hale said. The other four teams Kentucky has beaten (Robert Morris, Mount Saint Mary’s, Albany and North Florida) are a combined 2-19 against Division I opponents.
Central Michigan is 1-4 so far this season with its most recent loss coming to Bellarmine.
